    Cattle must be bred to work in all segments of the beef industry, from conception to consumption. The calves must be born with vigor and grow well on the dam. They must stay healthy and work well in the feedlot. Most importantly, the consumer must be pleased with their eating experience. All traits must be balanced to work for all. Constant testing and selection is the only way to achieve this balance in the end product.
